For those who might be interested in the composition of my doctoral comprehensive exams (which I took in April 2014) and/or are looking for models for their own exam lists, below are the final versions mine for you to peruse. Finally, if you are interested, the image on the right is of a stack in the gothic library of my alma mater, Vassar College, and serves as a poignant reminder that there is indeed a light at the end of that book-filled tunnel called comprehensive exams.
